Keith Crass for State Representative District 24

Keith M. Crass, CPA/CFF, CVA is the managing partner of Crass & Smith, P.A. in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A graduate of Arkansas State University, he has served as an adjunct faculty member for Garland County Community College and the University of the Ozarks. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of the ASU Alumni Association and the Hot Springs Country Club.
Keith has over 29 years of experience in public accounting, and is a frequent speaker for business organizations. He has also written and presented ethics related continuing education courses for the ASCPA, Fortune 500 companies, national and regional CPA firms, and other professional organizations. Keith received the 2007 Mac Angel Outstanding Discussion Leader of the Year Award from the ASCPA. He also received meritorious achievement awards for his presentations in 2002 and 2003. As a Certified Valuation Analyst and Certified in Financial Forensics, Keith also provides litigation support services, and he has served as a Court Appointed Expert and Special Master for area Circuit Courts.
Keith served 11 terms as the Chair of the ASCPA Professional Ethics Committee and in that capacity has been active in helping CPAs understand and adhere to the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. He has a keen interest in the promotion of professional ethics and has actively represented the ASCPA at the national level on ethics issues. Keith has also served as the Vice-President and President of the ASCPA, and has chaired many of its committees.
He is a member of the AICPA Ambassadors program and was previously the AICPA National Key Person Coordinator for Arkansas, which involved oversight of legislative contacts and activities. Keith received the ASCPA 2009 Outstanding Legislative Service Award for his work with the Arkansas Legislature. He is currently a candidate for State Representative in District 24.
