Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in our campaign for State Representative, District 24. Since announcing my candidacy last fall, I’ve had the great opportunity to meet so many people in Garland County and throughout Arkansas. It is so gratifying to meet people from all walks of life who have one thing in common. They love and care for the great state of Arkansas. Throughout my campaigning, I’m frequently asked the same question, why am I running for office? The answer is easy.

I’m running because I care. It’s always been in my heart and soul to someday be a state representative, and that someday is here. My interest in the Arkansas Legislature dates as far back as 1963, when I was just four years old. My grandmother worked in the House of Representatives, and she took my twin brother and me down on the House floor during the session. I vividly remember watching the speeches and even then, I knew this was something great.

Ten years later, I returned to the House floor many times as a Page for our local representatives, and I gained an appreciation for the service they performed. I also made the decision that I would serve as a legislator myself. It’s TIME to step up and serve the people of Arkansas. With the many challenges we face in Arkansas, I can no longer stand on the sidelines. It’s TIME to make a difference.

I invite you to take a few minutes and learn more about who I am and to learn more about our “Crassroots” campaign.
